This ushers in of a new era in American politics, a liberal movement in a once conservative America. Along with a Democrat landslide victory in both houses of Congress, there will indeed be massive changes in the way things are done for the next 8 years.

Sir Elton John says he still has regrets over his failed marriage to Renate Blauel when they split - because he says they would still be married if he wasn’t gay. Elton and Blauel divorced in 1988, but Elton still insists his ex-wife is “the classiest woman” he has ever met.

He adds, “I do love her desperately but it wasn’t to be, I was living a lie.”

Ziyi Zhang was shocked and appalled to learn that some film industry people at France’s Cannes Festival haven’t even heard there was an earthquake in China that killed at least 60,000 a week ago.

“I was as angry as a madwoman. I said, ‘Are you idiots? You are well-dressed people who look like you identify with society, but you don’t know what’s going on on planet Earth.’ It’s incredible!” Zhang said.
