In a revealing tidbit of non-news today, Alec Baldwin has discovered he’s actually an asshole and that’s what everyone else thinks of him too. He revealing that he was so “humiliated” after his extremely harsh and rant-filled answer machine message to his 11-year-old daughter Ireland was leaked to the internet last year, that he contemplated suicide.
Apparently, having everyone know he’s the father of a “thoughtless little pig” is embarrassing. But hey! There’s money to be made in the kid’s public pain - Baldwin has written an autobiography “A Promise to Ourselves: A Journey Through Fatherhood and Divorce.”
How ironic that Lynne Spears‘ memoir about raising her famous daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn will be released in a couple of months - right after the young underaged teen has her baby.
Lynne’s book “Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World” is set to finally be released in September after being held up by all the controversy the girls have gone through.
JK Rowling has penned a short prequel to her mega-popular Harry Potter books to raise money for charity.
The 800-word story will be auctioned next month as part of Waterstone’s ‘What’s Your Story?’ Auction.
Rowling is among 13 authors, including Nick Hornby, to pen story cards for Waterstone’s auction.
Mike Gilbert, a former memorabilia dealer and money-laundering partner of O.J. Simpson, has written a tell-all book in which he says the football great confessed to him that he killed his wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman.

There’ll be seven volumes of The Tales of Beedle the Bard, but they won’t be available to buy in stores.
One copy will be auctioned in aid of her charity, The Children’s Voice, while the rest will be given away by Rowling.

The talk show personality has cancelled all of her TV appearances in which she was going to talk about her book ‘Celebrity Detox’. She said no to Oprah and Diane Sawyer on “Good Morning America.” And then she cancelled everything else too…
